Client: SANAD Entrepreneurship Academy, an initiative of the Technical Assistance Facility of the SANAD Fund for MSME

Country: Lebanon

Objective: To support Syrian refugee and Lebanese micro-entrepreneurs to overcome the social and psychological barriers that prevent them from developing self-sustaining incomes as well as economically empower them to drive job creation and social development within their communities and host country. In addition, the project encourages refugee-host community dialogue and subsequent integration. The mentoring relationships will be supported for 9 months.

Aim: Social Entrepreneurship Development, Enhancing Ecosystems

Funder:  King Khalid Foundation (KKF)

Geography: Middle East

Country: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Objective: To drive the personal and professional development of social entrepreneurs who currently struggle with accessing to the right kind of support and legislation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and support KKF in building the capacity of their Mentoring Coordinator to strengthen the foundation’s capability to co-ordinate the logistical aspects of a mentoring program. This program supports the Kingdom’s economic aspirations seeking to increase SME GDP contribution from 20–30 percent by 2030, and in effect working towards transforming the lives of the Kingdom’s citizens by empowering entrepreneurs who go beyond profit - combining commerce with social good. The mentoring relationships are supported for 6 months.

Objective: To provide mentoring support to the beneficiaries of the EBRD’s Women in Business (WiB) programme in Tunisia by building women’s confidence, motivation and resilience and capabilities to grow their businesses sustainably over the medium to long term. The mentoring relationships are supported for 12 months.

Client: Safaricom PLC

Geography: Sub-Saharan Africa

Country: Kenya

Objective: To address its inclusivity and diversity objective, by empowering women leaders across senior and middle management levels to increase female representation within its management by 50 per cent in the next two years through mentoring.  This program also supports Safaricom’s 100% Human at Work initiative whose vision is to create a work environment that celebrates diversity and inclusion, enables talent and career growth, promotes employee wellbeing, as well as providing equal status, rights and opportunities to all employees in the Safaricom ecosystem. The mentoring relationships are supported for 6 months.
