Omar was born in Amman, Jordan. He studied at Amman Baccalaureate School then finished his high school education in the United States where he studied business. His early independence as well as his family’s business drive sharpened his entrepreneurial skills.
Omar is a serial entrepreneur and has founded/partnered businesses in various sectors including restaurants and real estate. Today he puts his skill where his heart is, or rather, where his eye is; the family business.
He is general manager of Shami Eye Centre, a state of the art day hospital providing all kinds of eye care solutions to all sectors. The centre has a special focus on service, another one of Omar’s sincere interests and natural talents.
Omar is a sports fanatic, both as a player and spectator. He loves books and has a passion for learning. He is 36 years old and a father of four.
