Ciapple is an information technology-based Jordanian start-up company that provides applicable software solutions and services utilizing artificial intelligence technologies. Similar companies usually founded abroad, however, the founder of Ciapple believes that such Jordanian companies should be established here in order to support the new national knowledge-based economy and serve the region around. A UK business mentorship NGO organization (Mowgli Foundation) according to this vision has also chosen the founder of Ciapple to be supported with an experienced business mentor for a full year in order to support the Jordanian economy in future.
The added value that Ciapple aims to offer to the customers though its software products is to enable them to analyze and utilize information about their own customers. This allows marketing management to develop strategies for customer retention, pricing, marketing, risk management, up-selling and cross selling. For example, if a telecom company wants to sell a new service like “internet over phone’, this decision support system has the potential to help the company to specifically target the customers who most likely want to have this service and thus will consume it in a most profitable way for the company. The software uses knowledge-extraction and artificial intelligence technologies to categorize customers into a number of groups (segments) and measure the accuracy of this customer segmentation.
Our main competitive advantages are:
- Adaptability to new customers and their dynamic changes without needing time for re-segmenting the whole database;
- Ease of installation as a standalone application without the need for a special infrastructure, or as a plug-in with any existing Business Intelligence database systems; A unique feature which is the ability to measure customers’ accuracy of segmentation and pre-compare available segmentation scenarios. This helps our customers in designing the best campaigns and market business decisions.
Our target clients are businesses with 10,000 – 10,000,000 customers and they employ database systems measuring the demographics and buying trends of their customers. These companies are mainly from the following industries: Telecom, Retailers, Banking, Wholesales, Airlines, Logistics, Call Centers, Online/e-commerce, Internet Service Providers, Marketing Research and Consulting Firms, Health, and Education. We intend to focus on: Communication Service Providers, Banking, Retailers, and Insurance to start with and to expand into other industries as we grow.
