European Mentoring and Coaching Council

The Mowgli Foundation is this years Charity of choice of the EMCC and both Tony and Simon will be attending their conference dinner, that takes place on 6th May in London.  The dinner is to be dedicated to the Mowgli Foundation and all profit from tickets for the Conference Dinner will go directly to Mowgli.

The EMCC exists to promote good practice and the expectation of good practice in mentoring and coaching across Europe.  They are a pan-European Council that consists of representatives from 18 national EMCC’s (including the UK) plus direct members in countries where a local EMCC does not yet exist.

Anyone who is a professional coach or mentor or who provides coaching or mentoring services and who has have an interest in this field is welcome to join the EMCC. They state that the only qualification they have is that members are looking to raise the standard of coaching and mentoring as a profession within the UK and abroad, and that you agree to abide by their code of ethics.

Linda Parkinson-Hardman is a social media strategist and website developer with Internet Mentor and the Founder and CEO of the Hysterectomy Association. She worked with the Mowgli Foundation between February 2009 and August 2011 managing their social media accounts and strategy, she still takes responsibility for the website and it’s hosting providing support to the staff team.
