Mohammed Zawaideh

Mohammed ZawaidehMohammed originates from Wadi Rum, a place of great beauty in Jordan largely inhabited by Bedouins.  He is a graduate of the University of Jordan.

Before setting up his own business, Mohammed was a performance manager with Nestle Water and a quality control manager with a distribution company.  Most recently he worked in project planning and quality assessment with the Jordan Postal Company.

His business, OneTEAM consultants founded in 2005, currently resides in the YEA incubator.   It specialises in capacity building, feasibility studies and performance management.   This year he plans to move into his own offices and take on up to 6 full-time employees and 20 consultants.    Beyond this he has already expanded the business outside Jordan to the Gulf area, specifically United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.  OneTEAM consultants now have representation in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah.

His challenges for the business are increasing turnover and recruiting the right people.  He is highly motivated but his personal challenges include improving his negotiating skills and becoming more emotionally intelligent.  He is learning Spanish and French.  His long-term goal is to give something back to his people in Wadi Rum.
