Ala'a Hamdan

Ala'a HamdanAla’a Hamdan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at CooP Health Corp. CooP started in May, 2009 as a business competition in the Global Business Opportunities program (GBO), an educational and cultural initiative by CSR at Al Ahli Holding Group; aiming to create working groups among youth from distant and different cultures helping them to identify business opportunities and develop entrepreneurship skills. The Program has been implemented in 3 countries on 3 different continents benefiting youth from Jordan, Argentina, and South Africa.

  • Coop has won the first place in the Global Business Opportunities (GBO) Program, Jordan – 2009.
  • Coop has won the final stage in MENA100 Competition and was chosen among the best 100 business in the MENA region, Bahrain – 2009.

From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Hamdan Served as a Site Control Engineer at Kharafi National in Kuwait, an international, multi-disciplined company with diversified operations in Engineering; he was responsible for providing technical support in the field of Operation and Maintenance for the Ministry of Energy.

During that time, Mr. Hamdan handled many projects and proved himself in the field of project management, he was appointed as an Acting Project Manager to a Communication Systems Project to be the youngest Project Manger in the history of Kharafi National.

Mr. Hamdan is a Project Management Professional, holds a Bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Jordan. He has undergone a number of trainings including project leadership and project management.
