Peter Hyson

Peter HysonPeter has two decades’ experience as a change consultant, facilitator, coach and trainer in the public, private and third sector. He has undertaken projects as diverse as culture change with a northern Local Authority to managing change with a part of the MoD and one-to-one leadership coaching with Directors of charities, intentional banks and real-estate businesses.

Passionate about helping people (and organisations) exceed their expectations and stretch their potential, he is also a skilled storyteller and writer.

Peter specialises in coaching and mentoring senior leaders in leadership styles, in leading and managing change and in the area of coaching for meaning and spirituality (for which he has a book shortly to be published).

As well as degrees in education management and in pastoral care, he has a Masters in Organization Development & Managing Change from Bristol University and is a member of several professional coaching bodies, including being a member of the Research and Ethics Committee of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

Given that his work has spanned at least five different careers, it’s not surprising that he loves the diversity of what he does! He is enthusiastic, passionate about people development and has a strong sense of humour and fun. He also loves story-telling and story-writing and is currently writing two screenplays. Combine all of that with good food and great company and he is truly contented!
