Kerstin’s managerial experience stems from 25 years as a manager and a CEO in both private and public sectors in professional services, pharmaceuticals, food, high technology and higher education across Europe and the USA. She has worked in multinationals, SMEs and two start-ups, one based in Switzerland and the other in Germany.
During her time working with companies such as ICI Pharmaceuticals (now AstraZeneca), Nestlé, The Generics Group (now Sygentia), Kerstin has built and empowered effective pan-European teams based on mentoring and coaching.
Kerstin’s expertise lies in new business creation and business development, particularly in business to business services. She has proven entrepreneurial skills in a wide range of sectors and is equally comfortable at strategic and tactical levels.
She has successfully lived through periods of growth and recession, which today underpins her mentoring and coaching activities.
Kerstin is fluent in French, English, Swedish and German, having lived and worked in these countries.
She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Cambridge University, UK and gained her B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a certified coach from HEC, Paris, France (CESA II, Expertise & Perfectionnement). Kerstin attended the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Wharton School of Business, Philadelphia, USA and she is a member of EMCC (the European Mentoring and Coaching Council).
