Jan Kingsley

Jan KingsleyJan is Executive Director of the Association for Professional & Executive Learning (ASPEL), a community of specialists in Leadership and Management Development. He is also a visiting professor in Human Resources and Organizational Development at ESADE Business School, Barcelona and the University of Maastricht.

Previously, Jan has been the director of four adult education centres, a consultant in capacity building for government institutions in developing countries, and a training manager for a multinational organisation.

His research interests include innovative methodologies for leadership development, assessment and evaluation of learning, and the use of project management for beneficial change in developing countries. Jan has lived in 12 different countries and has worked in more than 90, primarily as a consultant in change management, leadership and organizational development.

He is co-editor of the book Higher Education in Virtual Worlds, published by Emerald in November 2009.

He has an Honours Degree in Spanish (London University), a Masters Degree in Linguistics (Leeds University), an MBA from the Open University, and a Masters Degree in Educational Management.

Linda Parkinson-Hardman is a social media strategist and website developer with Internet Mentor and the Founder and CEO of the Hysterectomy Association. She worked with the Mowgli Foundation between February 2009 and August 2011 managing their social media accounts and strategy, she still takes responsibility for the website and it’s hosting providing support to the staff team.
